RISE4WRD for INDUSTRY4WRD


1.    WHAT IS RiSE4WRD ?

This programme is designed to assist SMEs in the manufacturing and related sectors that have participated in the Readiness Assessment (RA) under the INDUSTRY4WRD initiative by the Ministry of International Trade & Industry (MITI), to start or accelerate their digital transformation journeys.

 

      2.    WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF RiSE4WRD ?

RiSE4WRD for Industry4WRD is designed to support the national agenda in   accelerating technology transformation by providing a platform for companies from manufacturing companies and the related services that have participated in the Readiness Assessment (RA),

With the recommendation given in the RA report, employers are expected to plan and train their employees with the required knowledge and skills prior to high technology adoption.

By adopting high technology with the well-trained and efficient workforce, SME companies are expected to improve their productivity which is the ultimate objective of this program.


      3.    WHO ARE THE TARGET GROUP ?

Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in identifying suitable training programmes in line with the recommendation made in the RA report from the Industry4WRD initiative.

 

      4.    TYPE OF COURSES ?

Programmes recommended in the Readiness Assessment (RA) and inline with companies’ technology transformation.

 

      5.    HOW TO APPLY ?

The application will be open subject to fund allocation. Announcement will be made in HRD Corp website.

 

      6.    WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS ?

SME, Manufacturing and related services, who has done Readiness Assesment (RA) and has identified high technology related to transformation planned.

      8.    HOW MUCH FUND ALLOCATION FOR EACH COMPANY/EMPLOYER ?

RM25,000 maximum allocation and not exceeding RM5,000 for each trainee.
