Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning (RPEL)
To enable workers to get recognition on their skills, knowledge and experience gained through working and learning according to the level determined by Department of Skills Development (DSD).
To certify workers who do not have any formal certification but have obtained the relevant knowledge, experience and skills in the workplace based on their competency levels so that they are always up-to-date at their workplace.
Procedure:
- Submission via e-TRIS under RPEL scheme.
- Application must be submitted by employers before assessment.
Trainees:
No minimum AND maximum number of trainees
Financial Assistance:
Registration Fee - RM300 per person per level charged by the Department of Skills Development/Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran
Required Supporting Documents:
- A copy of confirmation letter from DSD stating the employer name, number of employee send for the recognition and total amount of payment that must be made.
- A copy of Appendix B1 endorsed by DSD.
- A copy of payment receipt (if any)
