1. What is the PACE Fund?
The PACE Fund is a strategic initiative by HRD Corp aimed at driving inclusive workforce development and addressing skills gaps across different segments of society. It supports national priorities under the MADANI framework.

2. Why was the PACE Fund introduced?
The PACE fund was introduced to strengthen workforce capabilities, enhance employability, and support business growth. It also aims to provide targeted upskilling & reskilling opportunities for various communities and industries in Malaysia.

3. Who is responsible for implementing the PACE Fund?
The Human Resources Development Corporation (HRD Corp) has been authorised by the Minister of Human Resources to implement the programme.

4. What outcomes does the PACE Fund focus on? 
The PACE Fund targets two main outcomes:

a. Existing Workforce
Participants obtain professional certifications or industry relevant skills upon completion, enhancing their skills and enabling greater career progression and upward mobility.

b. Unemployed Individuals
Participants acquire relevant skills that complement their academic qualifications, strengthen their professional profile, and enhance their overall employability.

5. What are the target groups under the PACE Fund?
The PACE Fund is designed to benefit a wide range of target groups, including:

  1. Youths (school dropouts) 
  2. Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)
  3. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and business owners
  4. Gig workers
  5. Single mothers
  6. Rural and B40 communities
  7. The general workforce
  8. Professionals
  9. Other relevant groups in need of support

6. When will the other programmes under PACE be launched? 

Every programmes under the PACE Fund will be launched by phases. Further details, including application procedures and calls for proposals, will be announced by HRD Corp during the official launch and implementation phases.

7. Are the programmes open to training providers?
Yes. Training providers are invited to submit their proposals during the programme launch exercise conducted by HRD Corp.

8. How can training providers participate in PACE?
Interested training providers may register their interest through the RSVP form available on the HRD Corp’s official website.

9.When will the programmes, applications, and registrations be available?
The availability of programme details, call for proposals, participant registrations, and implementation schedules will be announced progressively by HRD Corp in stages. Further updates, including guidelines, eligibility criteria, and timelines, will be communicated officially from time to time to ensure smooth implementation and readiness across all programmes.

10.How can participants or training providers obtain more information?
Further details, including application procedures and calls for proposals, will be announced by HRD Corp during the official launch and implementation phases.
