The NHRC has collaborated with its partner– the HR Certification Institute® (HRCI) in Malaysia to professionalise HR practitioners through the combination of the HRCI International Certification and the NHRC HR Certification. This Dual HR Certification Programme focuses on Malaysia’s relevant labour, employment, and business legislations. To be certified, one must meet strict professional experience and learning requirements before the related assessment. To remain certified, the person must undergo recertification every three years to ensure that they stay current and updated in their HR skills and knowledge. With the aim to elevate the HR profession in Malaysia, three accredited certifications are available for beginner, intermediate and advance practitioners.
