1. WHAT IS
THE OBJECTIVE OF HRDCORP PLACEMENT CENTRE (HPC)?
- To be a Centre that provides guidance
and support for business continuity, and offers career opportunities.
- To facilitate the required up-
skilling, reskilling or competencies training in securing employment.
- To be a nationwide matching platform of
supply and demand that is supported by a job portal.
2. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HPC PORTAL AND OTHER JOB
PORTALS?
HPC portal not only provides job matching services, but
also course matching under the Strategic Initiatives Schemes. This means that
we do not only focus on the placements, but also create the talent pool that
matches the industries’ needs. The jobseekers will be able to attend the
trainings provided to enhance their own skills.
3. WHAT IS THE TARGET OF HPC?
The newly-launched Human Resources Development Corporation Placement Centre (HPC) aims to provide
more than 50,000 jobs for Malaysians this year to address unemployment
challenges amid the Covid-19 pandemic.”

- HOW DOES HRDCORP PLACEMENT CENTRE (HPC) BENEFIT THE EMPLOYERS?
HPC acts as a platform to help employers in getting the right candidates to fulfil their work requirements.
- WHO CAN REGISTER UNDER HPC?
All employers with job vacancies can register to post their vacancies.
- ARE THERE ANY CHARGES IMPOSED FOR EMPLOYERS TO POST VACANCIES IN HPC PORTAL?
HRDCorp will not be imposing any charges for the posting of vacancies.
- ARE HRDCORP NON-REGISTERED EMPLOYERS ALLOWED TO REGISTER IN HPC?
Yes. The HPC portal is not only limited to HRDCorp registered employers. It is open to all companies with available job opportunities to offer.
- WHAT CAN WE GET THROUGH HPC PORTAL?
- A simplified matching process and assistance on talent search;
- A platform to advertise available job vacancies and opportunities;
- Opportunities and platform for walk-in interviews and any other events related to the job placement; and
- Brand exposure.

- HOW AND WHO CAN REGISTER IN HPC PORTAL
You can register through https://hpc.hrdcorp.gov.my/ and all unemployed Malaysian regardless of any age limit can register in HPC portal.
- I FORGOT MY PASSWORD, HOW CAN I RESET IT?
To reset your password, go to “Request New Password”. Type your email address that you used to create your user account and click on "Email new password". Then, follow the easy steps as explained in the email.
- WILL I GET ANY JOB RECOMMENDATIONS OR NOTIFICATIONS UPON REGISTERING AS A JOB SEEKER?
Yes. However, you will need to be successfully registered and logged in in order to get job updates from HPC.
- HOW DO I SEARCH FOR JOB ADVERTISEMENTS ON THE JOB PORTAL?
Use our Job Search Filter on the right-hand side of the page. This option lets you filter the job advertisements by location, industry and/or job type. After selecting your preferences click on the "Search" button. The other option is to type the job position or skill you want to search by typing into the text box under Job Search. Click "Search" after you have typed in your keyword/s.
- HOW DO I SEARCH FOR JOB ADVERTISEMENTS ON THE JOB PORTAL?
Use our Job Search Filter on the right-hand side of the page. This option lets you filter the job advertisements by location, industry and/or job type. After selecting your preferences click on the "Search" button.
- CAN A JOBSEEKER APPLY FOR SEVERAL JOBS AT THE SAME TIME?
Yes. If there is more than one job on offer that you feel corresponds to your profile and career goals, you may apply more jobs simultaneously.
- WHEN WILL I HEAR ABOUT THE STATUS OF MY JOB APPLICATION?
You will be notified about your application status at any stage after the closing date by the employer(s).
- I APPLIED LAST YEAR AND WAS NOT SELECTED. CAN I RE-APPLY?
Yes, not having been selected for one job does not affect your eligibility to be considered for another position. Each candidate for each job is assessed according to his/her merits and suitability for the role offered. If you feel your profile matches another job advertised, we would encourage you to apply for it.
- WHAT HAPPENS TO MY APPLICATION AFTER YOU RECEIVE IT?
Upon receipt of your application, it will be checked carefully by the HR department and the managers of the advertised position. If your skills match the appropriate requirements profile, the company will invite you for an interview session.
