WHEN IS THE IMPLEMENTATION

The Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) has mandated the implementation of the e-Invoice system for all registered taxpayers in Malaysia. In line with this directive, HRD Corp will fully execute the e-Invoice system starting from 1 January 2025 onwards.

To ensure compliance with this requirement, we kindly request the cooperation of all our stakeholders to register their necessary details for the e-Invoice process.

WHAT IS E-INVOICE?

e-invoice is a digital representation of a transaction between a supplier and a buyer, formatted in a structured, machine-readable manner. It contains all the same essential information as a physical invoice.

WHO IS IMPACTED BY THE IMPLEMENTATION?

All stakeholders who make financial transactions with HRD Corp must comply with this implementation including Registered Employers, Training Providers, Trainers, Individuals and Vendors.

IS IT COMPULSORY?

The implementation of e-Invoice is a necessary upgrade for tax compliance and improving business efficiency. It also supports a more streamlined process for our stakeholders – marking a significant step towards digitisation that ensures accurate tax and financial reporting, minimises errors and optimises operations.

WHAT INFORMATION ARE REQUIRED?

For smoother processes in the future, we require you to provide your key information including tax registration numbers, SST numbers, industry codes according to the Malaysian Standard Industrial Classification (MSIC), LHDN Classification Codes and more.
